Study: Genetic adaptation of IncK2 plasmids to chicken gut.
show Abstracthide Abstract
This study included 59 IncK2 carrying isolates of human (n=17), poultry (n=34), cattle (n=3), pig (n=4) and environmental (n=1) origin from 11 European countries and Lebanon. IncK2 carrying isolates analyzed in this study were sequenced using both Illumina and Nanopore technology. A phylogenetic analysis of all plasmids was performed in order to determine the genetic relatedness of IncK2 plasmids isolated in different countries and from different sources.
